Bihar Board 10th Result2020: The wait for Bihar Board 10th Result2020 will finally end in a few hours. About 15 lakh candidates have been eagerly waiting for their BSEB matriculation results for the past one week. The Bihar School Examination Board on Monday issued a press note stating that the matriculation results will be declared on Tuesday 26 May at 12:30 pm. Bihar board class 10th results will be available online at biharboardonline.com and onlinebseb.in. Candidates can visit any of these websites to check matriculation results.
Unlike every year, the BSEB will not hold a press conference to announce the results in view of maintaining social disturbances this year. Therefore, students will not be able to watch the result announcement live on TV. However, they can read the BSEB liveblog on HTE from 8 am which will be updated regularly. Further, the board informed that this year Bihar Board will announce the 10th result 2020 in the presence of Bihar Education Minister, Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Bihar, RK Mahajan.
BSEB President Anand Kishore had earlier announced that the board plans to declare matriculation and inter results in the last week of March or the first week of April. The intermediate results were declared by BSEB on 24 March. However, Bihar matriculation results were delayed due to outbreak of coronovirus. Although the examination was concluded on February 24, the evaluation process was abandoned midway due to coronavirus lockdown. The assessment resumed on 6 May and ended on 17 May after which all the candidates' marks were compiled and fed into the computer. The topper list was prepared by the board and a panel of subject experts was constituted to re-examine the papers of the top 10 rank holders and to conduct an interview to verify the genuineness of the toppers.
This year, more than 15 lakh students appeared for the Bihar Board's class 10th examination, which was held from February 17 to February 24 at 13868 centers in the state. A total of 15, 29,393 students have registered for the exam. In the first shift of the examination, 7, 74,415 students and in the second shift, 7, 54,978 students appeared for the examination.
This year the board adopted several new measures to erase the use of any improper means in board examinations. For the first time, the board introduced pre-printed answer sheets and OMR sheets, which print candidates' names and photos to avoid impersonation. Out of a total of 100 questions, there were 60 objective type questions in the question paper, out of which students had to attempt in any 50.
